Frequently Asked Questions for our pottery courses

Absolutely, we will take anyone with an interest in clay! If you have never touched clay before, or have a limited knowledge, we are there to lend you our ears and give you as much or as little assistance as you would like.

If you are an advanced potter or you have taken part in any courses in the past, we would be thrilled to offer you a relaxed space to create.

And if you are anywhere in-between, we're more than happy to have you at our Forget-Me-Knot studio.

Pay-as-you-go

• 3 hour session with tea/coffee break
• Pay before you clay
• Access to clay and all tools (hand-building)
• Apron provided
• Piece(s) will be fired by us and can be collected when ready
• Choose your glaze
• Book more sessions to have more control over your final piece(s)
• Please note, you are likely to be sharing the space with other attendees. More than one of you wishing to attend? You can book up to two people per session.
• £30 per session, plus £5 studio fee

Six-week Course

• 3 hours per session with tea/coffee break
• Pay before you clay
• Six-week course length
• Access to clay, glazes and all tools (hand-building)
• Apron provided
• Pieces will be fired by us and can be collected when ready
• Glaze your pieces
• Create plenty of beautiful pieces, from start to finish
• Please note, you are likely to be sharing the space with other attendees. More than one of you wishing to attend? You can book up to two people per course.
• £170 for six week course, studio fee’s included

Social Pottery

• 3-4 hour session (your choice) with tea/coffee break
• Pay before you clay
• Access to clay (hand-building)
• Aprons provided
• Paint ready made pottery
• Piece(s) will be fired by us and can be collected when ready
• Choose your glaze
• Special event? Any requests for ambience and special touches (banner, balloons), for a celebration? Please ask, we will be more than happy to make the event even more special
• Nibbles on arrival
• BYOB - please let me know before you come, so I can prepare!
• £40 for 3 hours per person
• £50 for 4 hours per person
• Max of 4 people per group. Private session.
• Plus £5 studio fee for group

In our studio, you will have access to hot and cold running water for pottery purposes, adjustable lighting and all manner of pottery tools, stencils, moulds, cutters, turntables, inspiration and more! We are currently building our glaze selection and have some beautiful colours for you to choose from.

There is access to a toilet and drinking water also. However, we recommend you bring bottled water and use your toilet facilities before you arrive. We will of course, accommodate in any way that we can.

We sadly do not have wheelchair access but this is something that we are looking into creating in the future.

We are located in Loddiswell, Kingsbridge, Devon. Our full address will be provided upon confirmation of booking.
